Hi, I’m Beth!

I am certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, who loves to eat, nerd out on science, and help people feel well. As a child, I suffered from chronic IBS, hormone imbalances/PCOS/PMDD, rapid weight gain, and never-ending yo-yo dieting. I know what it’s like to feel confused and helpless in navigating my symptoms, (and our healthcare system) and I care deeply about empowering and educating others to find the right path in their health journey!

I’m not an wellness influencer, I’m not a perfect eater or an athlete. I’m just Beth; A bookworm who believes wholeheartedly that everyone deserves to have relief from their symptoms, and feel confident in their bodies. I won’t ask you to adhere to strict diets, or implement crazy training routines. We will discuss your goals and your struggles, and we will come up with a realistic plan together.

I’m particularly fascinated by the magic of the digestive system, our body’s ability to regulate hormones, nutritional impacts to the skin, and prenatal nutrition.

I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in human development from Oregon State University, and finished postgraduate training at the Nutritional Therapy Association. I’m a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals, where I am currently pursuing board certification in holistic nutrition.

I live in the gorgeous Olympia, WA area with my incredible husband, and our two sweet kitty cats. I love music, travel, gardening, and ice cream.

Why work with me?

My education has taught me to see each person within the context of their lived experiences, interests, exposures, family dynamics, favorite meals – everything that makes you…well, YOU!

When you work with me, I do a deep evaluation of your nutritional status, (which is a foundation of your wellbeing) but we also explore other areas of your life that might be impacting your body systems. Areas like stress, sleep, movement, and relationships can have a profound affect on your health. Then we make a plan. We set some long term goals, and pick small, realistic steps you can take to get there.

I don’t give protocols, I don’t have a 1-size fits all program; You are uniquely you, and should get what YOU need, not what works for someone else.

Some programs might include strategies to add in more protein to your diet, or ways to reduce environmental exposures in the home, but could also include supplement recommendations and grocery shopping lists. Small steps, big impact.

Let’s get started!
